Update:
I wanted to remind everyone about the account set up for the injured Fordyce Police Officers. The account is to assist them with any expenses incurred while being off. I have some people ask me if they were not being paid 100% due to being on workman compensation. Workman compensation insurance only pays a little over 60% of their monthly salary while being off duty.
They were both relatively new on the job and have very little sick/vacation leave to exhaust to make up the rest of their salaries.
I am happy to report that we have raised almost $2000.00 at this point. I want to thank everyone that has donated to date.
The account is in my name and just ask the tellers to put it in the "donation" account.
