SHERIFF MIKE KNOEDL - WEEKLY UPDATE 8/29/2025

Good morning,

The week began with a call about a potential theft of a bulldozer. Several of us responded to the theft in progress, along with the two Arkansas State Police Troopers. The suspects had left the scene before we arrived. We were able to develop a suspect through pictures taken at the scene. Following a brief investigation, two individuals of interest were detained and subsequently arrested. One of the suspects was arrested for possession of drugs and an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. The two suspects face numerous charges related to the usage of the bulldozer.

We completed our second week of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over DWI campaign. While no DWI arrests were made, several arrests occurred for drugs and outstanding warrants.

On Tuesday, deputies apprehended a subject who had absconded from probation and parole. This suspect was arrested by deputies with assistance from our drone. Our drone has proved invaluable in situations where suspects decide to flee/hide in the woods. (See drone footage attached)
