SHERIFF MIKE KNOEDL - UPDATE 2/27/2026

Good afternoon,

I apologize that my weekly report is a little late. It's been a hectic few days here at the Sheriff's Office. As most of you who follow my page have seen from my news release, we have been busy investigating an accident where a small child was killed. This one hurts. The general public has no idea what we may see and experience at any time. We are human, and cases like this are never easy. Please pray for law enforcement every day.

Early Thursday morning, we, along with multiple agencies, served search warrants on three residences simultaneously. Small amounts of drugs were located at each residence, along with drug paraphernalia. Two people were arrested, one of whom had outstanding misdemeanor warrants out of Grant County.

I'm asking for prayers concerning the extended family of the little girl who was killed on Tuesday.
